Both the service manager and Laura Williams wasted my whole day. I told them I experienced a transmission shutter the week prior to my appointment. The recommendations in GMC's service bulletin TSB 04-06-01-0291 were ignored. The bulletin states no lengthy service diagnostic is required and outlines the specific requirement for fixing this particular problem which is extremely common problem with these particular transmissions. The technician must perform a thorough fluid exchange using Mobil 1 Synthetic LV ATF HP (Part #19417577 / 19353429). This revised fluid contains new friction modifiers designed to eliminate the shudder. I was quoted a diagnostic fee of nearly $300, and then another $499 fee to drop the pan and then look around at the fluid and magnets in the pan. You guys know this is a problem and has been a common issue with General Motors 8L 90 transmissions. I initially was told when I showed up in the morning they would change the fluid out and it would be in the $400 range. It took until almost 5 o'clock Friday to recommend something outside of your very specific technical bulletin guidance. I asked for my keys back and left very disappointed after having driven four hours to get this service

Good. The dealership did a good job completing the oil service. Much better than the first time. They do not have nitrogen to fill the tires. I was told that the 'system was broken'. This service was promised when I purchased the vehicle.
